Long time, no post!

Sorry that it has been so long since my last post, but mommy has REALLY been something else! Not only is she making tons and tons of silly mistakes (like forgetting my diaper bag on the way to go grocery shopping...when we got there, she realized that I had a poopie, so she drove ALL THE WAY HOME to get my bag, instead of just buying diapers and wipes at the store and changing me in the restroom!), she's also been very, very tired. This makes her chase me up to bed a little bit early, and so I never get a chance to update my blog. (And, thus, I begin my life-long blame of my mother...for EVERYTHING.)

Did I mention that she cries at the drop of a hat, and is extra huggie and kissy with me? The other day, I patted her belly and said, "Baby"...and she just started boo-hooing, all over the place. I only did that because I saw a kid at daycare do it...what do you think is wrong with her?
She told me that I am going to be a big brother, but I have no idea what she's talking about. She also said that I am going to get a big-boy bedroom and big-boy furniture soon...I really don't know why, but...ok....whatever you want, Ms. Hysteria!
So, aside from all the baby talk in the house, not much new has happened since my cousin Erin's wedding. Daddy is starting a "kind of" new job in December, and he's both nervous and excited about it. Other than that, it's pretty much status quo around here. Here are some pictures of what's been going on lately, like my Halloween photos!

Halloween! Now THAT was fun! Once mommy walked me through the first house, and I realized that they were giving me candy...I was on a MISSION! I motored through that development like the Tazmanian devil! I got so much candy, but it disappeared a few days later...strange. Here are some pictures of that, and other things...

...like my 1st cheese fries experience (it's the photo above with yellow cheese on my face)...can you see mommy cheering me on? And here're 2 pictures of me and my daddy at my friend, Kiera's 5th birthday party...I really love my daddy. He's so cool. On the way to that party, our car broke down on the highway. Mommy pulled over, daddy got out his toolkit...and FIXED it! We only missed about 20 minutes of party time. He's the BEST. He wrestles with me all the time, and he tickles me, until I laugh so hard I have to catch my breath. He also gives really great hugs and kisses. I am a really lucky boy.

Erin and Scott's Wedding

My cousin, Erin, got married on Saturday...it was a great day! I met my cousin Emmett...so there were two Emmetts there! Here are some pictures of the Emmetts Brennan.

Here are all my cousins on the Brennan side...

Here I am, just after I got caught running around the church and stealing the arm rest covers...

Mommy says this is the perfect picture of parenthood...exhausted, hot, beaten up, and happy.

Dutch Wonderland!

Mommy and Daddy and I played hookey from school and work last week (right before July 4 weekend) and went to Dutch Wonderland. BOY, did I have fun!!!!!!!!

I got to walk around loose with my monkey backpack!

I played in the water park, on the slides!
Here's an action shot of me at the end of the slide!

I went on a boat ride!
It was a great day! YAY!!!

Hospital for Tubes in My Ears

Wow, I feel so much better since I've had tubes put in my ears!!!!!!! I sleep about 2 hours more a day, I am happier, I talk all the time (just like mommy), I have said a bunch of new words, I follow mommy's and daddy's directions, I eat better...everything is better!!!!!!!!!! Mommy asked the doctor if he did a personality transplant while he was in there...isn't she clever? No, I don't think so, either.

I went to Bryn Mawr hospital and Dr. Scharf worked on me. He was so nice...and the whole surgery team was great! I got to play with a really pretty lady anethetist, who put me asleep while I didn't even know what she was doing!!! She was good! And pretty...did I mention that? I had a great time flirting with her. We left the hospital 2 hours after we walked in...and I took a GREAT LONG nap that afternoon.

Here are a few shots of me before and after I took the "giggle juice"!

School Pictures...

Enough said.

So much to tell!

Well, it's been a while, and mommy's excuse is that she is busy working Full time and being a Full time mommy. I really know it's because she spends all of her free time on Facebook. Anyhow, here are a couple pictures of things that have happened, in the past few months...

I had ribs for the first time, when Mr. and Mrs. Donton came to visit me...wow, were they good!

This is Mrs. Donton talking to me...isn't she pretty? If you look closely, you can see her baby, Tyler, waiting to come out!

Here are some pictures of Easter at my Nanny's house and some of me playing at my Aunt Theresa's house, too.

This is me throwing a temper tantrum when it was time for us to leave. They have such great toys there at Aunt Tee Tee's house, and they are so much fun to be with! Can you blame me for not wanting to leave?!!!

My First Haircut

Ok...so I cried...a little. What do you want from me...mommy always acts all sweet and happy right before she does something I don't like. I KNEW I wasn't going to like this...but it really turned out to be not that bad.

Mommy and Daddy took me to "SNIPITS"-a place where they cut hair for kids. There were tons and tons of kids around, and tons and tons of toys on the floor. (Mommy said it was her version of hell, but I LOVED IT!)

Daddy was cool. He was wearing his new glasses and got checked out by a lady who looked like Kate Gosselin. Mommy thought it was funny. I think it was because I am so cute that I help dad get the chicks. Anyway, Daddy and I played for a while and then one of the men who worked there became my new buddy and played with me, too. Then, they put me in a chair HIGH up off the ground and put the cape on me...that's when I got nervous.

The haircut actually felt good! The lady was so nice, and she had so many toys for me to play with...I almost feel bad that I threw her big green plastic scissors on the floor in a fit of rage. I hope she forgives me...I didn't mean to be rude-I was just freaked out a little...like Mommy is at the dentist...or like Daddy is when the Flyers lose. Of course, Mommy cried. What a drama queen. Oh, I cried, too. Nevermind...

After my haircut, they gave mommy a piece of my hair as a keepsake, and the gave me some of my hair that she cut to throw into a machine...and then the machine spit out a present for me!
I can't wait to grow more hair to give to the machine again. I got a rubber ducky...a cowboy rubber ducky! I LOVE rubber duckies!!!! I take a bath in a big yellow ducky, and play with a green one, a yellow one, and a Leprechaun ducky...now I can add cowboy ducky to the list.

After my haircut, Mommy and Daddy took me to Sears, where we looked at lawn mower parts (really cool) and then we went for Chinese Food-I really like Chinese rice with a little sweet n sour sauce on it. I also like the donuts! I ate mostly baby goldfish, tho...and Pedialyte.

After that, we went home and Mommy and Daddy put me to bed. I was sooooo tired! It was a big day for me.

Nanny's Birthday

I wanted to write something about my Nanny. She had a birthday the other day. I love her soooo much that I let mommy put on my sailor suit for her party-that's how much I love her. She is cuddly and warm, and she smells like cookies...and she holds me "just so".

Here's a picture of her when she was opening her gifts-which was a picture of all of her 10 grandchildren! (She always tears up when she gets one of these.)

I let Nanny put a pink ribbon on my head (see how much I love her?!)

And then I played with Nanny!

And then I started to get tired, so I hung out with Uncle Ray a little...

And then he brought me into the "Man Cave" (the kitchen) so I could hang out with the guys...

And last, I got Uncle Greg a drink and he played with me....

It was a great day!
